How It Works
A few Q/A's Minimize
  • What Is it?
    • The Fabricators File Exchange (FFE) is a place for fabricators to share designs and files they have created.  If you drew something in CAD or some other application and think others might find it usefull. Simply sign up for and activate your account and click the Upload button and follow the instructions.
  • What to share?
    • Stuff you think others might find usefull that pertains to fabrication.
  • What not to share?
    • Anything that doesn't pertain to fabrication or is protected by copyright or patent law.
  • Why is FFE here?
    • To help fabricators. Normally each fab shop is regional and don't compete with each other so why not save each other some R&D $ and share your drawings etc.  That way you can stay busy melting metal which is what really pays the bills and keeps your customers happy.
  • What does it cost?
    • Nothing for you.  Just don't be a leach and take and never give back, share your work with others.
      • (This seems to be a problem for most so now accounts are manually added to the download group.  If you want to download then you must first upload something and notify the admin)
